The Creation of Values
EDMS (Electronic Design & Manufacturing Services) professes the concept of rendering a service. We at CCS neither distribute nor sell any products directly in the market and thus avoid any competition with our customers for whom we develop and manufacture the products.

People in the know understand why we tend to avoid the word services, preferring instead to speak of values. We find that ‘services’ is open to misinterpretation. What does ‘to render a service’ mean? Is it charging for doing something whose outcome lacks a physical presence? Does that then exclude adding a value? What does adding a value really mean? In the literature the amount of the value added is seen to mean that the income exceeds the associated costs. But whether money related services provided by banking institutes, accounting or auditing companies or the like can be said to add values is a question to be left to the relevant specialists, who will no doubt argue the matter indefinitely.

In this sense we are not service providers, but rather producers of added-value who create values. Our business is based on the idea of leaving the work to a dedicated specialist, who, in the completion of his daily tasks, is focused on carrying out specialised processes according to the concept of ‘best practice’, being a reliable partner to the customer and in this way helping to achieve high values in the final product. This is what we are committed to.

We consider ourselves specialists in the entire value chain of the electronics industry and support our customers in a commercial partnership, from the first idea or feasibility study to the development of a new product. Our customers can count on us from the beginning of the industrialisation process, through production into logistics and quality achievement through the complete life cycle management. These are the values that we create.

We are successful in maintaining our position and achieving continued growth in a highly competitive market thanks to the loyalty of our existing customers and through the convictions of newly-won clients. We achieve these client relationships thanks to the commitment of our staff, the active support of our suppliers and the involvement of our stakeholders who understand our market activities.
We positively accept every challenge we face. Obstacles are there to be overcome and we tackle them by facing them head on, vaulting over them or transcending them. These values help us to advance and ensure our future existence.

I will conclude by expressing my gratitude to everyone who helps to create value.

Multiplying added value
Looking actively in our everyday surroundings for values created by human hand the impressions that meet our eye are endless, overwhelming, diverse and ... without end.

The blacksmith has always been for me the epitome of this visible creation of added value.
Given just a piece of iron and a flame the blacksmith uses his skills to produce an endless variety of objects: swords to fight with, bridges to bring people together and creative works of art to enjoy.

And without the plough to prepare the soil to plant the seed it would be almost impossible to feed the world.

Major construction efforts have always required dedicated human co-operation for their realisation which has led to an increase in knowledge and efficiency. These people created pyramids, extensive infrastructures, cities, ships, steam engines, dams and power supplies.

The "value created" by each single specialist became an integral part of the whole construction thus leading not to an addition but rather to a multiplication of the value added.

In the here and now a new dimension has appeared: innovation in high-tech products.
Almost everything in our lives bears its stamp - mobile phones, GPS, computers, medical technology - all possible only by the efforts of the extremely innovative electronics industry.

This is the domain of the CCS Group and we are an established player actively implementing innovation. We help to create a modern society together with our partners and customers.

We are proud of being able to perform these tasks continually striving to maintain machinery and systems state of the art at all our facilities. We take pride in our motivated team and in the provision of quality at all levels.

I am of the considered opinion that by combining our customers’ know-how with our own core competence we are able to achieve a common goal – the multiplication of the inherent added value.

We look forward to every new challenge and seize every opportunity “to strike while the iron is hot.”

And so I wish each of us every possible success.
