2012 -Takeover of Gohlke Elektronik GmbH by CCS Holding
The CCS Group acquired the German EMS-manufacturer Gohlke Elektronik GmbH. Thus, by this merge, the new CCS Group will strengthen their position as market leader in Switzerland and become the fifth largest EDMS solution provider in the German speaking part of Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria).
2011 -CCS Group as new majority shareholder in Adaxys SA
The CCS Group acquired a majority stake in the Swiss Adaxys SA. Thus, by this merge, the new CCS Group will become the number one player in Switzerland and the seventh largest EMS solution provider in the German speaking part of Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria).
2011 -Zurmont Madison as new majority shareholder in CCS Holding AGZurmont Madison Private Equity acquired a majority stake in CCS Holding AG, thereby becoming the largest shareholder in the Group. Company founder Stephan Schindler retains a significant holding in the company and remains active in the Board of Directors.
The Executive Board now also holds a stake in the company.

2010 - Jubilee of CCS Schweiz AG
CCS Schweiz AG, formerly Formatest AG, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The party was held on the 4th of June, with many guests having been invited.
We received Mr. Schmid (former member of the federal council of Switzerland) and his wife. Back in 1985 he was the solicitor when founding the company and we thank him for holding a laudatory speech during the event.
The two founders, Stephan Schindler and André Bonzon as well as the shareholders Paul Gerny, Thomas Kaiser and the company Comunitas (represented by Mrs Gisela Basler and Mr. Fritz Fischer) attended the festivities.
Accompanied by lovely weather we all had a very good time, not least due to our host Sascha Rufer and piano virtuoso Nico Brina.
2009 - Acquisition of property at Bernstrasse in Lyss
With the acquisition of the premises at Bernstrasse in Lyss, the development and production facilities were being merged.
The group management, finance, administration, NPI and customer services will remain at the site of Werkstrasse.
Alltogether, around 100 people are employed in Switzerland.
2009 - The CCS group in a new uniform appearance
The almost 25-year-lasting story of success in E²MS was adapted to new market demands.
Together with the new business-unit-organisation, all legal company names of the affiliate companies were brought in line with the uniform CCS brand.
Formatest turned into: CCS Schweiz and CCS Deutschland
Elsuma turned into: CCS Lanka, CCS China, CCS Asia, CCS International
2008 - closer to our customers; opening of new branch office at "Technopark" Zurich
From the 1st of April 2008 on the CCS Group will have a new branch office in Zurich, besides its headquarters in Lyss. From Zurich we will accomplish groupwide marketing tasks and provide additional technical 'NPI' expertise on the spot.
2005 - massive modification of the facilities in Sri Lanka
the start of a 5-years plan "HighTech production in-between a botanic garden" was done. At the end of the year, the first new SMT assembly line could start with its services.
2004 - Conventional Organisation Structures have served their purpose
every subsidiary has now implemented "process orientated" work practices.
All repeat audits due in 2004 were passed with flying colours.
In addition, CCS Elsuma Sri Lanka has now been ISO 14000 certified.

Foundation of CCS Holding.
The joining together of Formatest AG and Elsuma AG with all their subsidiaries in one organisation.
2002 - Further expansion in Lyss
Selectron Electronicservice AG is taken over from the Schneider Electric-Group.
After the merger with Stelec AG it means 50 employees make up electronics production in the new CCS Electronicservice AG.
At the same time investment is made in an AOI-System (Automatic Optical Inspection from VI).
2001 - Technological jump
Thanks to sensible financial management we could make further investment in a modern SMT and testing infrastructure.
Result: Purchase of an SMT-Mydata-Line and a Flying-Probe test system.
2000 - Foundation of Elsuma Ltd. China
Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise is the magic word for our new production site in China. 30 employees are immediately busy on the first project.
Chinese purchasing will help us carry out suitable production orders at attractive prices for our customers.
1998 - Growth of the production centre Lyss
Formatest AG takes over the production company Stelec AG and integrates it into Lyss.
The greatest emphasis is given to modern SMD-technology and there is massive investment there.
1995 to 1997 - The growth continues
Formatest AG moves to its own premises in Lyss. 33 people are employed there.
Sri Lanka now employs over 500 employees while 3 people work full time in Sexau.
1993 - Foundation of Formatest GmbH, Sexau
More and more German customers are discovering our professional service. With customs, VAT and accounting costs development is only possible inside Germany.
1992 - Service extension "Development" at Formatest AG
Development and Commercialisation departments are added to Purchasing, Production and Testing.
The electronics service offer is thus complete.

Formatest AG moves to Aarberg.
By the end of 1991 30 people in Switzerland and 300 in Sri Lanka are employed.
1986 - Start of production in the Far East
Today’s Elsuma (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka began production with 25 employees.
It would become an outsourcing firm for Formatest AG.
